How can I thank you enough? I was dealing with such a painful, traumatic, heartbreaking period. I listened to both ‘grief recovery’ and ‘letting go of traumatic experiences’. I feel like I will never forget what happened, and I shouldn’t, as this is part of my history, but I learned how to accept it with understanding and peace, to let go of the agony and replace it with love. It wasn’t easy at first, but as I listened and listened each night for a month or so, the shift in my heart followed accordingly.

This is a true blessing. I was going through a traumatic event of abandonment and my heart couldn’t stop throbbing. My mind always went back to that moment of shock and analyzed it again and again, like I was on repeat mode. I soon became obsessed with the event and my therapist diagnosed it as a trauma. My life was never the same since then, but ‘letting go of traumatic experiences’ helped me release the pain from my soul and focus on the positive direction I’m heading. Cleanse your heart from painful traumatic experiences you had that injured your soul. Genuinely let go of your past, forgive yourself and others (only if you choose to – that’s not a must), and build a new, strong and beautiful present, that will lead to a brighter future.

Letting go of the past traumatic experiences will liberate you from suffering, and put you on the right track to contentment. Healing the painful wounds will turn you from a state of surviving to thriving.

When you keep on holding on to the past and not letting go, you are missing your present. You are missing your life.

The main reason it’s so hard to let go is that you have this limiting belief of “if I let go of the past, it means that I don’t care about the harm that was done to me”. But this belief is continuing the suffering and doesn’t serve you in any positive way.

This meditation of letting go of the past is built with three MP3 subliminal layers and meditative music. It is advised to sit or lie down in a comfortable position, breathe deeply and allow yourself to relax. A relaxing state maximizes the receptiveness of the subliminal messages.

If you find yourself flooded with bursts emotions while using this subliminal track, it’s OK. Let it out and don’t try to fight it; simply accept it, without feeling bad about it. Acceptance of your emotions is part of the trauma recovery process. If you are overwhelmed by pain or other unpleasant emotions, you may stop the audio and listen to it another time when you are ready.
